Nebraska! August 16-18, 2014

We talked with Nathalie & Brock while we were packing up. Sure is good to meet up fellow RVers on the road. I'm sure we will meet up again.

We were out of Hart Ranch at 10 AM. We had a long one today. 289 miles and into another time zone, Central Daylight Time. We don't normally do this far in a stretch.

We cruised through South Dakota, watching the landscapes change. Then entered Nebraska.

We stopped at Valentine, NE for a break and some lunch. Nebraska is hilly and grassy. Lots of agriculture here.

Our Stopping point was in Bassett, NE at the Rock County Fairgrounds. I had several backup spots in mind, because this was Saturday and close to school time. The FG may be busy.

Not the case, we were the only ones there.

There was a big grassy area with power poles. There was 20, 30, and 50 amp service there! Right by the city park too. No one in sight. And the spot is by donation too!

There we are, way over there.

All by ourselves.

A pretty good spot.

Can't beat 50 amp at a fairgrounds. Good solid power... only us on it.

In the morning, Donna took the pics of me adding Nebraska to our 'States Visited' map.

Next time (Iowa) it will be her turn.

Then we went and found our first geocache in Nebraska.
