Elks Lodge #1298 in Visalia, CA

We had a great time visiting with family, but it was moving day. We headed out at 7AM for a 270 mile trip.

It was busy around Sacramento, crazy drivers and everything. But we made it ok. A little on CA70, I5, and mostly on Highway 99.

Arrived at the Visalia Elks Lodge #1298 just at noon. And we got 13.1 miles per gallon!!!!

50 amp service and water hookups. Only 2 other motorhomes were parked here. Then a small Montana 5th wheel arrived.

Our site.

We will take it easy the rest of the day and check out the area tomorrow.

Like the other Elks places, they have a dump station we can use on the way out.

For the cost of the Elks membership, they sure have a lot of places to camp at. And they are a friendly bunch too.  Tonight in the lodge, Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and some kind of desert, all for 12 bucks a person. And happy hour too!

It cooled down a it. 82 degrees here right now at 4:30PM. And it gets down to 54 at night.

Good sleeping weather.
