Cashmere Fairgrounds, HS Reunion, Moochdocking, Yakima, WA - October 4, 2021

The Cashmere, WA Fairgrounds, officially called the Chelan County Expo Center, was surprisingly a really great place. Surrounded by mountains, the park was on the outskirts of the quaint little town of Cashmere. The park has 140 RV spots. The section we were in had full hookups and was only $27.00 a night. There was only about 8 other RVs there.

A few pics of the place.

Donna and I visited a famous Cashmere tourist attraction, the Liberty Orchard's Applets & Cotlets Factory. They produce all kinds of really good confection candy. They also have tours there. We had to buy some goodies.

Then we attended my 50th Wenatchee High School reunion. Friday night we met at the Watermill Winery, a new tasting place in Wenatchee. There, we met up with many of my classmates. This was really our 51st, but since it was cancelled last year, this is the 50 year celebration.

The Saturday, we met at one of our classmates place for the big get together. Great to see everyone again. What fun!.

Yesterday, we moved to Yakima, WA where we are moochdocking at a friend's place

We will be parked here for 12 days while we fly to Phoenix. We are helping our daughter Kim & family move up here to Yakima. I will be driving their U-Haul truck. We will get back here on or about the 13th.

We almost flew out last night, but our flight was running behind schedule and we would have missed our connection flight in Seattle, so they rescheduled us on tonight's flight. At least we got to spend the night in our own bed (at our moochdocking place) instead of staying at the airport, or a motel.

There you go..

The Fergs out .......
