They come in Three's - August 15, 2017

It has been since August 2nd since I posted, and it has been some busy and crazy times.

Our 6 days at La Conner Campground was pretty nice. The weather was hot and we drove over to Tim's a couple of times. It was fun cooling off with the boys.

We did a lot of walking around the park. We actually found some cell service down by the beach.

The Lone Tree.

One day, Donna and I walked all around La Conner. They have a nice boardwalk along the river. We had lunch at the La Conner Pub & Grill.

One day, Candy went with us to pick up Oli at the ferry terminal. It was a surprise for him. He got to spend the night with us.

We stopped at the Fort Casey State Park lighthouse. Oli got to go to the top.

Anacortes was having a Arts & Crafts festival, so we stopped and checked it all out.

Oli got to go visit his cousins Roman & Ryker.

And enjoy our RV park playgrounds, and blackberries.

Then we moved to Tall Chief RV Park near Fall City, WA. It is a RPI park for us, $77.77 for the week. We found a really nice site.

But after one night, we had bad power there. So we moved.

Found another good site. Even got Sat TV here.

Roman & Ryker spent the night with us and we had fun in the park.

Oh yeah, the bad things that seem to always come in three's.

1. Out daughter, Candy was picked up for a DUI. She is an alcoholic and has had a pretty rough time with it for years. This is her 3rd DUI and she is in Jail. Maybe even for 9 months or more. We can not help her. She is on her own. At least she has room & board, and is sober. Prayers would be good.

2. The other shoe finally fell. Fourteen months ago, when I worked at Crescent Bar, I reported my income to the SS Disability folks. That set off a series of events that questioned the date that I was approved for SS Disability. They made a mistake, and now they have corrected it. The date awarding me Disability was changed from Jan 1, 2013, to July 1, 2013. Booo!! I guess I owe Uncle Sam $12,330.00 in overpayments. It is not the end of the world, but it does suck!

3. KC, our old family cat that we got 14 years ago, our daughter Kim had her for years, is gone. She took a turn for the worse. The new thyroid medicine seemed to be helping, but something else was making her miserable. We took her to the Vet and she suspected kidney failure and pretty much said there was nothing they could really do. Her quality of life was gone. We said her goodbyes....

And the Doc sent her to Kitty heaven.

She was such a great cat. It was a tough thing to do, and her Mommy, Kim, took it pretty hard too.

Well, I hope all the bad things (that seem to come in 3's) are past. After 7 days at Tall Chief, we are now at the Thunderbird Thousand Trails in Monroe again.

Just for 2 nights this time. The reason we came here again, is so I could get my Colonoscopy taken care of. And I just got it done a few hours ago. They found 4 polyps and removed them.

Glad that is over ... no more bad things, please!

Getting ready to move out tomorrow and get ready to use our new glasses.

Fergs .... out!
