Christian Fellowship Rally , Quartzsite, AZ - January 13, 2015

We headed out of the Copper Mountain RV Park on Thursday the 8th. We stopped by the office and paid our electric bill for the week we were there. It was the first time we have ever had to pay for our electric usage. It was $34.25 and I thought that was good. We used the power as we normally do. If we had to use less we could have.

114 miles later we were in Quartzsite. We made the drive with an empty fresh water tank and filled it up at the RV Pit Stop in town. We timed it just right. There was no line and only 5 bucks.

We got all set up about 2.3 miles down Plomosa Road in the same area as last year.

We love being in the desert.

Rumble Bunny & Tinkle Bell do too.

Some of the Escapees group (Christian Fellowship) were there already.

There will be over twenty rigs here by the time the rally starts. And the rally will go from Sat Jan 10th to Fri Jan 16th. We do devotions every morning, lots of potlucks, games, music, hikes ... good fellowship.

Here is a shot of the community fire pit during our hot dog dinner.

Things in town are just getting going. The big tent is up.

Lots of venders are selling anything you can think of. And RVs everywhere. New and used for sale, and boondockers are everywhere. Had to get a picture of Beer Bellys Adult Daycare.

Cool place to visit.
There are quite a few RV Dreamers here too. We had a visit from Steve & Diane. Along with them were Red & Pam. We had a good visit.

We will have more time to get together again later on. We are attending a RV Dreamers mini reunion later this month.

We then got a call from Tom & Cheryl. They read our blog and are also RV Dreamers, from Minnesota. They decided to camp with us at this rally and join in on the fun.

And one day .... walking through the RVs here on Plomosa Road, were Chris & Cherie of Technomadia. We recognized them from their blog. We had to go say hi. What a small world!

From the desert .... the Fergs ... signing off for now.
