We had a nice 4th of July fireworks show here at the Thunderbird park. Just across the river, they set off mass fireworks. There were ground displays, aerial displays, and big boomers too. It went on for a half an hour. We were able to watch from inside our RV out our big window. It was the best fireworks display I have seen.
We have been visiting with Tim and Shannon quite a bit. They took a quick trip to Las Vegas to celebrate their 6th wedding anniversary and we watched Rome and Ryker while they were gone.
We had a wonderful time with the grand kids. Mom and Dad had a great time too!
The weather here has hit the 90s, which is rare for the greater Seattle area. Donna and I have hit the pool a lot too.
Our time in Washington state is coming to an end soon. We head East July 29th. I found a cool app that uses PowerPoint to make your own 'States Visited' map.
I downloaded it from ppt.toolkit.com. We have to spend at least 1 night in our RV in that state to count it.
Here is our current map.
This is what it will look like when we get to the RV-Dreams rally in September.
And this will be our map once we get back to Arizona for the winter.
Leaving here next Tuesday and heading to the Thousand Trails park at Crescent Bar.
We are hoping to leave CA by end of July and catching back up on our Eastern drive to the rally. We're hoping to be in Montana around Bozeman mid-Aug, but we won't know until we get out of CA and on the road permanently this time!
ReplyDeleteI like the new map! Looks like you guys will be busy over the next few months hitting all those states!
ReplyDeleteWhere are you stopping in Idaho?? We have an art show in Couer d'Alene Aug 1-3, let us know if you'll be passing through.
ReplyDeleteDale and Ruth
We will be in northern Idaho at Riley Creek COE just off Hwy 2 on or about July 29, 30. Then on to Montana.
