Grandy Creek campground. A combination KOA and Thousand Trails park. Yellow electrical pedestals are KOA, green ones are for TT members. Free camping for us....at the green ones only.
After our morning routines, we did a walk-about.
The entrance.
By golly, there is even a creek here...Grandy Creek.
There are lots of trees here. Many Cedar and Hemlocks. Pretty gnarly ones at that. Here is a twisty one by the mini golf area.
They have a activity center with good wifi.
And a pool/hot tub area.
We like to walk the trails and roads, looking at the different campers and stuff.
Checkmate!!!! Well there is a giant chess set here. Always watching out for a photo opportunity
.
Hey look! A cool little cabin.
Photo Op!
Donna taking a break.
We are way over there.... in the tall trees.
Then we headed over to the North Cascades National Park. We stopped at the Wilderness Information Center and then on the the NP Visitor Center.
They had the coolest NP sign.
Even 'Fergizmo' had to get his pic taken.
Is that a cool picture, or what?
After seeing all the cool and educational stuff at the visitor center, we walked around a bit and found an 'end of the trail' viewing spot.
The air is so clean here. The forest smells wonderful.
Another National Park checked off our bucket list.
Big trees! I can almost smell them!
