April 26 to April 30, 2012 - Silverline Resort Winthrop, WA

We left East Wenatchee and met up with 4 more rigs from our Good Sam Chapter, The Appleland Sams. We convoyed 57 miles together and stopped at Pateros, WA and met up with 1 more rig. While there, we walked over to a neat little bakery, The Sweet River Bakery. After we picked up some goodies, we continued another 45 miles to Silverline Resort.

Silverline Resort is beautiful. We had a good spot overlooking Pearrygin Lake.

This was the first trip of the year for our Good Sam Chapter and we had a total of 7 rigs. We had a great time with our Good Sam friends. We sat around the campfire, enjoyed a potluck, and pretty good fishing too.

We visited Winthrop one day with Jim and Eileen, and ate at Carlos 1800 Mexican Grill & Cantina and wandered around the western themed town enjoying the sights and shops

The next day, we visited the Old Schoolhouse Brewery in Winthrop, and the Twisp River Pub in nearby Twisp. We did some tasting of the microbrews brewed locally. Twas very good!

This was our first outing of the year with our Good Sam chapter and our first trip of the year with our fith wheel. Looking forward to many more in the future.
