We drove down to North Bend/Coos Bay area and visited with my cousins Cathy (and Dennis) and Butch (and Marsha). Butch is in his second year since being diagnosed with ALS. Even though he can't eat or talk, he is doing remarkably well. Our prayers are with him.
This is when Cathy & Dennis came and visited us.
This is the next day when we went to see them.
We were unable to see our other cousin down here, Carol & Tom, but we will see everyone next time through.
On one particularly nice day, we went walking with Gene. He lives just a short distance from Old Town. Love these touristy shops.
We ended up having lunch at Mo's.
Our park is within walking distance to the Oregon Dunes NAtional Recreation Area. I went walking one day and watched all the ATVs doing their thing. It sure looks like fun.
Today we went with Gene to Heceta Head Beach. You could see the Heceta Head Lighthouse in the distance, it's light is still lighting through the ocean mists.
A sand castle.
Then had lunch at the Surfside Restaurant right on the beach, overlooking the surf.
Tomorrow we move a little farther north up Highway 101. A big whopping 50 mile move.
