San Benito TT - Paicines, CA - October 19-20, 2015

Glad to leave Morgan Hill TT. We only had a 43 mile move to make so there was no hurry leaving. Good thing, because the RV (an old Southwind) right in front of us wouldn't start and the guy had to call a tow truck.

I don't know where they are going to tow it to, but I feel for the guy.

As we were heading to the next Thousand Trail, San Benito TT Park, I had concerns that all the poor homeless folks were just moving back and forth between these two parks. And as we got inline to check in, we were following a winner of a travel trailer.

Here we go ....

But as we checked in.

That was not the case. There may have been a few folks 'down on their luck', but not many. This park has over 500 spaces, and is pretty spread out.

This is a nice park.

Now the problem with this place, apparently, the power sucks. As we drove around looking for a good spot, we saw power peds with big red spots on them.

We asked a ranger, and he told us that it means the power is bad in those sites. Man! there were probably over 200 sites with bad power. No wonder all the RVs are spaced out like that.

We did find a pretty good area to settle down in. With good power too!

We parked beside a real nice full timing couple from Texas, Rick & Donna. Good neighbors and we had lots to talk about too.

Our power is 30 amps, 126 volts steady on both legs. This will definitely do us for the next 5 days.

Our spot.

This place has an adult lodge and pool, and spa. And also a family lodge and big pool. Lots of activities too.

Here is the family lodge and pool.

This place is famous for the wildlife in the park. We have seen lots of deer, birds and squirrels, but we are hoping to see the bobcats that are suppose to be here too.

Later, we will go explore Pinnacles National Park just 20 miles down the road.

Later ....
