Wagon Wheel Campsite, Forsyth, Montana August 4, 2014

We left Conestoga Campground in White Sulphur Springs, MT at 7:30 AM. That's pretty early for us but we had a 281 mile trip to make that day. Montana is sure a big state. Looking forward to the Eastern edge and North Dakota.

We opted for a little longer route this time. Highway 12 has several areas of construction, so we headed south on Highway 89 till we hit I-90. I-90 east to I-94. It was a pretty flat drive. And a cooler day too.

It was a long drive and we stopped at a little Mom & Pop campground called the Wagon Wheel Campsite. She gave us the last pull through full hookup site, number 9.
$25.00 a night.

This was a good stopping place for a night after a long moving day. The site was in the shade from several Quaking Aspen trees. The only down side was lots of flies, biting ones at that.

We decided to do just one night here and head on to North Dakota. We have a spot picked out in a state park by Medora, ND. We will see if it will do... in the morning.
