Review - Palm Springs RV Park - Palm Desert, CA - April 12 - April 21, 2018

This Thousand Trails park is located in the Coachella Valley, in Palm Desert, just off Interstate 10. Take Interstate 10, Exit on Washington Street, then left on Varner Road. The entrance is just a quarter mile down the road.

The welcome station. Easy check-in.

Through the gate, you can go right into the 50 amp FHU area, or left into the 30 amp pull through FHU area.

There are about 400 FHU sites here along with rental cabins, trailers, and cottages.
Going to the right, into the 50 amp back-in site area.

This side has the Recreation Lodge, Adult Lodge, Pickleball courts and playgrounds.

The Rec Center and Adult Lodge and pickleball courts.

Inside.

Going left after entering the park, into the 30 amp FHU pull through area. Towards the Family Lodge, Pool and hot tub area.

Inside.

Our site, #74.

The Verizon cell service is great, internet is available here for a fee. Lots of activities. A clean park. Good power and water pressure. This park is in a great location too with all the Palm Springs area to explore.

Satellite reception is 'iffy' because of all the palm trees, but could be done.  We found the Dish Network satellites through the trees.

We will gladly come back to this one.
