Wilderness Lakes RV Resort, Menifee, CA - October 22, 2016

We had a good travel day Friday. Just 109 miles, clear blue sky, and no wind. Highway 14 to highway 138. Then Interstate 215 south to Menifee and the Wildeness Lakes RV Resort, our 40th different Thousand Trails park.

Check in.

Mini golf!

Family lodge.

and pool.

Country store.

Adult lodge.

and pool.

This place used to be next to some dairy farms and the smell was bad here. But they are gone now and this place is really nice.

No cows (or smell), but other animals.

We got a choice big spot by the canal.

Our view from our door.

Other pics of the parking areas.

Saturday, we headed to Oceanside, 45 miles away, and had brunch at the Breakfast Club with our grandson Chase.

He is stationed at Camp Pendleton Marine Base.

We also went walking down to the beach in Oceanside. A beautiful day and place to catch Pokemonsters.

This stop is a place we could spend more time at. But we are determined to visit all our membership TT parks to see what they all are like. This one is a good one. Tommorrow is our last TT park in California. We will be going up from 1400 ft to 6425 ft in just 43 miles. So up we will go. The temps here have been summerlike.

Looking forward to some cool times.
