My birthday present today (and for a few more) is a new truck. Yep. Pretty cool huh? I really feel good about it, and love the truck. It is a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD. I really just moved up to a 5 year newer truck, but the new features are amazing.
Finally....some peace of mind.
Had a new hitch installed yesterday. Getting it detailed today. Should take possession tomorrow.
Three Way Chevrolet here in Bakersfield is even paying for us to stay 3 more days at the Bakersfield RV Resort. So we left Camping World yesterday, and drove the 1 mile back to the park. parked in space 118 this time.
Donna is taking advantage of the fast WiFi here. This place has the best WiFi we have seen yet.
They have antennas all through out the park so everyone has a good signal.

I chose a single rear wheel model this time because this will haul a 17,000 lb 5th wheel, and ours weighs 14,900 out of a 16,000 max weight. It will be so much better to drive/park in town now.
We should be heading out Thursday morning. Heading East into AZ.
