2015 Washington State Samboree - June 10 - June 15, 2015

The fairgrounds at Moses Lake, Wa was our home for the next 5 days.

We were early arrivers. The grounds can hold a lot of rigs. Beautiful weather too.

Since we were early, we got a nice close place to park.

Here we are with our Good Sam goodies displayed.

My brother & his wife (Jim & Eileen) who run the Good Sam store, were there as well as 6 other couples from our former chapter, the Appleland Sams of Wenatchee.

Here they are (and Donna) setting up the GS store.

We had a good time. Here is one of our happy hour get togethers.

Donna set up her sewing table. She took donations and sewed patches on people's GS vests. She made, and donated, $67.00 to the Fisher House organization.

Later she sold her aprons, handbags, and all the other goodies she had made. She did pretty good.

Here is a shot of our old chapter members.

Here is what each day started off with. Coffee & donuts ... and lots of friend making. There was only a couple of full timer RVers here.

The theme this year was 'God Bless America'. We had a 'People Parade' It matched the theme pretty well.

Besides each of us winning at card bingo, we also won two of the raffles. I got a big 'Mariners Basket' loaded with Mariners baseball fan stuff, and Donna won a basket full of goodies for the 4th of July. Pretty cool!

On Sunday, after the rally, we drove into East Wenatchee and boondocked (moochdocked) in our church parking lot for the night (with our Pastor's permission of course).

Tomorrow we take the Jeep in for the electrical wiring setup for towing. We may the head over the mountains where it is cooler. 90 degrees is a bit warm to boondock without AC.

:)
