Yesterday, I mowed the front and back yard of the house....for the last time.
Then hopped on the riding mower for the last mowing of the orchard.
Before I could start the watering of the orchard, I had to move our rig out while the ground was hard and dry.
Hooking up.
Here we go...
We are leaving the orchard.
I parked in front of the house. We continued to load all our stuff into the rig. We had been house-sitting here for the last 39 days.
That evening I turned on the 8 strings of watering lines for the 12 hour watering cycle....
Thursday September 5th, 2013 ... Moving Day...
I turned off the water
And away we go!
The butterflies are flying.
We had a great drive of 219 miles with a stop at Costco in Covington for a hot dog lunch.
We arrived and got setup at the Travel Inn RV Resort in Elma, WA. This is a KM resort and we have a KM membership so it is pretty much free. We plan to be here 3 days. Then the rain came. Lots of thunder and lightning too.
Can you tell it is pretty wet here.
