New State, 2nd Harvest Host - Fort Bayou Brewing Company - Ocean Springs, MS - January 3, 2023

Before our departure day, we looked around the area for a good place to get some Cajun food for me. I had a hankering for jambalaya, we found the Pot & Paddle Jambalaya Kitchen. Ok then! Here we go!

It was pretty good. My sides were Mac & Cheese & Red Beans. Donna didn't partake so we went over to the Panera Bread place for her. It was a good last day in Louisiana.

Big storms coming today (moving day) with elevated chances of tornadoes or large hail. That sucks. It rained like a crazy man around 8 AM, then stopped. When it stopped, we quickly prepared for travel, hooked up, and moved over to the dump station. We felt really blessed, lucky, or maybe the weatherman was wrong. The weather was great all the way to our next stop.

We drove 88 miles today. Now that's a great travel day. Into a new to us state, Mississippi.

A little overcast, but a great day to take a drive.

We were heading to our second Harvest Hosts stop, the Fort Bayou Brewing Company in Ocean Springs, MS. We arrived and I wandered over to let them know we were here. The manager was really nice and let us know where to get parked. There was only one other RV here. Here are some pictures (with our new Canon camera) of this Harvest Host.

They open up at 4 PM, and we are ready for a flight of darks and some goodies.

Tomorrow .... Alabama!!

The Fergs out .......
