Quartzsite 2019 - January 27, 2019

Just 4 days after working in Paradise, CA, we loaded up the RV and headed out to Quartzsite. This is the first time we have really gotten out in our new 5th wheel. The annual Christian Fellowship rally had just started and we wanted to get out and meet up with some of our Escapee 'Birds of a Feather' friends. We knew that we had forgotten to pack some stuff, but that's why we make lists. On our maiden voyage, we came up with quite a list.

We arrived out on Plomosa Road and got set up and joined the group. Our cats, Rumble Bunny and Tinker Belle, jumped right back into the RV lifestyle.







We had a great time with our Christian Fellowship group. Pot lucks, campfires, music, and great fellowship.










After spending 5 days with our group, we headed down to the Roadrunner BLM area and met up with our friends Bev & Tim.









While we were there, we all moved around Quartzsite and checked out the many yard/junk sales going on. And spend a few hours in the 'big tent'.







It was a sucsessful first trip out in our 5th wheel.






We did make a page and a half of stuff that we will pack into the RV for our future trips out.

    Now that we have a somewhat home base we too found that we have forgotten a few things and have started making a list of things to bring next time. Looks like you had a good time in Q!
