Since the last update, we have our RV ready to go. Not sure when we are going out, or where, but we are ready. I know we are heading to Quartzsite in January, followed by a quick trip into Southern California. We may go out next month, we'll see.
A few things we have been doing. Every last full moon in the month, is the 'Howling At The Moon' get together here in the Yuma Foothills. I went out there to check it out last month.
On the edge of town, in the desert, they set up a stage and have some groups play music while everyone gathers around drinking, talking, and dancing. Then when the full moon rises, yep, you guessed it, everyone starts howling. Kind of crazy, but a fun event none the less.
The parking...and it will really fill up the closer to moon rise.
And the gathering of howlers.
And the best hiking in the Yuma area has to up Telegraph Pass. It only took me 3 hours up and back this year.
The pics.
Steep as can be, but the views are great!
I have our Arizona room prety much done except for trim and paint. It is a nice place to have morning coffee, and our cats love it too!

I am still working on the gate that is in front of our RV parking space. I have inserted a post inside the gate post so I can not only swing the gate open, but can lift it up and move it out of the way.
Still looking for a 7 foot piece of black iron fence to finish it up. Then a load of gravel.
And we took a trip into Algadones, in Mexico, to visit the dentist. We went with Tim & Bev and had to stop off at our favorite taco place for their famous shrimp tacos. Yummy!
Thanksgiving is this Thursday and we are going to Karen (my sister) & Cliff's house. I have been doing pretty good on my diet since we have been down here. Down about 30 pounds so far, but hey! Thanksgiving comes just once a year. And we have much to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends and family!
The Fergs out .......
