A New Year at Copper Mountain RV Park - Tacna, AZ - December 26, 2015 to January 4, 2016

We finished the year 2015 in the lodge with a bunch of folks. We had a few drinks and appies. The kareoke machine was busy all night. We all even made it till midnight and celebrated the new year 2016.

Had a fun night.

Donna is slowly getting better. Moving slowly, but better every day.

Karen & Cliff took us out to the big flea markets in Yuma. It was quite a place, but we got out of there without spending too much. Then we proceeded to go to the Golden Corral. As usual, we got our money's worth there. Then we waddled back to the rigs and headed home.

Tomorrow the 5th, is our 42nd wedding anniversary. It is also moving day. So I took Donna out for lunch today. I pulled out all the stops. After 42 years together, I decided to splurge and go to one of her favorites. We hit the In-N-Out Burger place in Yuma. Man! they have good burgers, and fries too! Yes, I love my wife. We are like two peas in a pod, like peas & corn. .. ok you get the idea.

Tomorrow we head out to Quartzsite. We are just going to do 2 week in the desert this year. Two days at La Posa South, 9 more at the Christian Fellowship rally along Plomosa Road, then back to La Posa South for 3 more days. Looking forward to seeing all our friends. Then we will head East a bunch.

I finished our year end financials. Overall, we were over budget a bit, but we had a few unexpected things come up. The three main catagories were 'Fuel - Gas', 'Food - Groceries', and 'Campsite Fees'.

The 'Household Items' and 'Misc' catagories were the big overages. This year, we moved from a fifth wheel to a motorhome. That took a hit on the budget a bit.

Jan - Dec 2015

'Fuel - Gas' (part of the year was diesel truck, then Motorhome and Jeep)
We budgeted $435.00 a month and spent $4,743.57 for the year. That averages $395.30 a month - Good!

'Food - Groceries' (not eating out)
We budgeted $500.00 a month and spent $6,557.41 for the year. That averages $546.45 a month - Oops!

'Campsite Fees'
We budgeted $200.00 a month and spent $1,758.19 for the year. That averages $146.52 a month - Good!

I may tweak the budget a little bit, but all is good.
